Urbano-7: A Guided Visit

This guided tour is focused on foreign guests who visit Guadalajara from abroad. The tour is based in a creative-architectural format that connects the physical city with its virtual representation in the ZMG-axis:
Introduction-- [+ general map]
Day #0, 'pre-Sunday'-- [+ maps + itinerary] A special welcome to our guests, at the Alberti residence.
Day #1, Monday-- [+ maps + itinerary] 'Waters of the North and South'. At the extreme north and southern limits of the metropolitan zone, a visit to the Valley of the Lerma River, and Lake Chapala.
Day #2, Tuesday-- [+ maps + itinerary] 'Where the Sun Sets', allows the discovery of other aspects beyond the city's edge. We visit the Guachimontones archaelogical site, Hacienda el Carmen.
Day #3, Wednesday-- [+ maps + itinerary] 'Sub-Urbia': Special focus on the regional-modernist architecture of Luis Barragán and Pedro Castellanos, the classical 'porfirian' Colonias neighborhood, and the Bethlehem Graveyard. Also included, Agua Azul Park, popular leisure spot since the late 1800s.
Day #4, Thursday-- [+ maps + itinierary] 'Extra-Center', Tlaquepaque and Zapopan (the secondary urban cores; the labyrinthian potters village' and the 'town of corn'). We also finally visit downtown Guadalajara.
Day #5, Friday-- [+ maps + itinerary] 'Today's Kitsch Life': Special focus on the contemporary culture of leisure and shopping, with aspects of 'beauty' and 'health'.
Day #6, Saturday-- [+ maps + itinerary] On this day our visitors take part in our 'lunch-for-8'.
Day #7, Sunday-- [+ maps + itinerary] This is the day of the 'urban workshop'.
Extra days-- [+ maps + itinerary] Allow for the possibility of extending one's stay, with a visit to Puerto Vallarta, Guanajuato, or a local spa.
