This sculpture, carved in wood, measures some 3 by 3 by 3 inches. It was scanned in Los Angeles at 1 am on a Friday morning. Using a digital camera and the program D Sculptor, 16 photos were transformed into a 3d model, transferred directly to WRL format. This is a very effective way to represent solid and sculptural objects.
